  • How do we get there?

    From South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), take Santa Rosa exit and turn right towards Tagaytay.

    Upon reaching the main Aguinaldo highway, turn right towards Nasugbu, Batangas.

    Go past Tagaytay Rotunda and proceed for 10 kilometers.

    After Splendido Taal Golf Country Club (on your left), make a right turn on Buck Estate Road.

    Drive for 2 km and watch for Sonya’s Garden on the left side.

  • What kind of food is served in Sonya's Garden?

    Sonya offers a fixed all-you-can-eat organic menu.

    It starts with freshly harvested arugula and lettuce handpicked from her garden, topped with mango, broad beans, eggs, cucumber, jackfruit, edible flowers and other fruits in season, which is then drizzled with Sonya’s Secret Salad Dressing.

    Then, freshly baked bread from the Panaderia is served with an array of homemade dips like basil pesto, bruschetta tomato toppings, mushroom pate, anchovies, black olive tapenade, and white cheese.

    Pasta is also served with two choices of sauce; sundried tomatoes, and chicken cream with mangoes. Feel free to mix the two up and surprise yourself. Then, top it off with as much salmon belly, shiitake mushrooms, ratatouille, black olives, capers and grated parmesan cheese as you want.

    For dessert, enjoy glazed sweet potatoes, banana rolls with sesame and jackfruit, and homemade chocolate cake.

  • Do you serve meat?

    Sonya’s Classic Country Fare Buffet does not have any meat dishes. However, guests may opt to have additional entrees included in the fixed menu, like Roast Chicken and Braised Chicken. You may also try Sonya’s gourmet Filipino menu featuring meat entrees which is available upon request for groups of 10 or more. You may call the restaurant at +63 917 703 3442 to inquire.

  • Where can I buy Sonya's Secret Salad Dressing?

    Sonya has a Country Store that allows guests to purchase some of her offerings to take home or give as gifts, including the Secret Salad Dressing. Freshly baked bread, signature pastries, and salad greens are also available at the Panaderia next door.

  • Can I have my wedding at your garden?

    Yes. Sonya’s Garden has been the setting of hundreds of breathtaking Tagaytay weddings. There are three main venues in the garden where the ceremony and reception may be held: Morning Glory (Up to 300 guests), Sunflower (Up to 200 guests), The Conservatory (Up to 80 guests).   • Can I have my prenup pictorial in your garden?

    Yes. Our prenup pictorial packages are as follows:

    Option 1 : Jade Vine – Php 10,000.00

    • 6 hours use of the garden
    • Use of Holding Area

    • Maximum of 8 persons


    Option 2 : Queen of the Night – Php 20,000.00

    • 8 hours use of the garden

  • What is the origin of Sonya's Bed and Breakfast?

    Following the popularity and success of her Secret Garden, friends of Sonya prodded her to establish a facility were guests of the restaurant can stay overnight or longer to enjoy the complete experience of a unique kind of country style living. To date, there are 26 cottages available, all named after herbs.

  • What are your rates for the Bed and Breakfast?

    Rates for a one-night stay at the Bed and Breakfast are PhP 4,000 per person on weekends and PhP 3,500 per person on weekdays. Single Occupancy rate is Php 10,000 .

  • What is included in the rate?

    Guests of the B&B are treated to welcome drinks, a sumptuous breakfast and a hearty country lunch or dinner. Guests may also participate in gardening lesson, garden tour, river tour at no extra charge. You may schedule these activities upon reservation.

  • Do you accept credit cards?

    Yes, credit cards are accepted.

  • What kind of food do we expect at the Bed and Breakfast?

    B&B has flexible menu that changes from season to season. Guest who may have special requirements may make arrangements at the time they make their reservation and with due advance notice.

  • Are kids charged full at the Bed & Breakfast?

    Children 8 years old and above are based on full rate. Children 4-7 years old are 50% off the published rate. Children 3 years old and below are free of charge.

  • How many can fit in a cottage?

    Cottages have different room configurations that can comfortably accommodate anywhere from a minimum of 2 to 6 guests. Special arrangements can be made to accommodate up to 13 people in the biggest cottage, which is Lavender. Special arrangements can also be made for big groups such as corporate planning sessions, wedding showers, reunions, etc.

  • What are the cottages like?

    All the cottages reflect the influences of Sonya’s travels here and abroad. Each cottage has a unique personality that is part European and part Asian, but definitely all Sonya. As part of the rustic experience, rooms do not include some modern facilities like televisions, air-conditioning, and telephones.

  • Are there spa facilities?

    Yes. There is a full-time spa facility in the garden where guests are treated to a full pampering experience. While guests of the B&B may also request for these services to be provided at their respective cottages, it is recommended that they visit the SPA for a complete rejuvenation of the mind and body. Try the Sonya’s Signature massage. You won’t regret it.

  • Do you have day rates for people not staying overnight?

    No. The Bed and Breakfast cottages are reserved for checked-in guests staying overnight. Should you want to stay longer in the garden after having lunch or dinner, we suggest you head on over to the SPA and treat yourself to a relaxing massage or body scrub.

  • What time can I check-in/checkout?

    Guests can check-in between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and checkout at 12 noon. If, however, you have special requirements, we would suggest that you mention this at the time you make your reservation. Sonya’s allows some flexibility with check-in/checkout so long as it does not conflict with its commitments to other guests.

  • Do you have a cancellation policy?

    Cancellation of bookings will only be accepted if done 15 days prior to registered date of arrival. Paid bookings are non-refundable but may be used for future bookings within a period of six (6) months. In the event that guests failed to arrive on the date of arrival, one-night charge will automatically apply.

  • What is the best time to stay at the Bed and Breakfast?

    Sonya welcomes guests all-year round but the months of September-February is usually the busiest time for the B&B, when the cool Tagaytay weather is best enjoyed. Of course, this also means that the weekend crowd is larger than usual and reservations tend to be scarce unless scheduled in advance. Weekdays are actually the perfect time to stay at the B&B, when guests can enjoy a quieter time and the unique serenity found only at Sonya’s Garden is most prominently felt.

  • Is Sonya's Garden open for breakfast even if you’re not a checked-in guest?

    Yes, even guests who are not checked-in at the Bed and Breakfast cottages can also enjoy Sonya’s special home cooked breakfast feast, which is a mixture of Filipino and French-inspired dishes, among other offerings. The kitchen opens as early as 8 a.m.

  • What about pets?

    Dogs, are welcome, preferably those that are gentle and petite. Other pets are allowed as long as they remain securely under their owner’s custody. Noisy and ferocious animals are discouraged. We would like to remind guests that Sonya’s is a farm and that there are free-range farm animals that abound in the area and that Sonya’s cannot be responsible for any pet brought in to the premises.

  • Is smoking allowed?

    Smoking in all indoor facilities is not allowed.
