March 07, 2026, was a day of growth and fresh flavors as students and faculty from Miriam College visited Sonya’s Garden. The educational tour focused on the beauty of organic living and the joy of creating food from scratch.

The activities started with a hands-on gardening lesson, teaching the basics of nurturing plants in an eco-friendly way. This was followed by a salad-making demo, where the secret to the perfect garden-fresh bowl was shared.

To finish the day, the group headed to the Panaderia for Malunggay Pandesal making. Learning to knead and bake this Filipino favorite made for a fragrant and delicious end to the trip. It was a wonderful Saturday spent appreciating the simple things in life.
